Brief Bio
Prof. Dr. habil. Sebastian Fudickar is Professor for Medical Data Engineering and Head of the Section for Clinical Research IT (SKFIT) at the University of Lübeck, Germany and principal investigator at the Fraunhofer IMTE. His research in medical informatics integrates medical data science, biosignal and -image processing, and machine learning-driven digital biomarkers to optimize clinical processes, enhance data integration, and advance precision medicine through improved screening, diagnosis, therapy planning, and disease monitoring. Additionally, Prof. Fudickar leads the MoveGroup junior research group, investigating the integration and analysis of multimodal sensor signals and clinical data to improve the diagnostics and understanding of neurological movement disorders.
