Advanced Systems in Healthcare, Wellness and Personal Assistance - Special Session of DSD’2015

Special Session of DSD’2015

Funchal, Madeira, Portugal ‐ August 26‐28, 2015

Submission Deadline: March 29, 2015

This Special Session of DSD’2015 - the 18th Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design, aims at discussing the advances in development of embedded and cyber-physical systems for health care, well-being and personal assistance. The recent progress in (intelligent) miniaturized sensors and actuators, powerful embedded processors, wireless communications and energy efficient design made feasible and economically justified numerous new or better systems not only in the fields of traditional medicine and surgery, but also in the fields related to ageing population or to personal well-being. The Special Session targets advanced applications and systems, as well as, design methodologies and implementation technologies for such systems, when focusing on the holistic development from the system concept to its actual realisation and validation. Contributions from academia, industry and other interested parties are welcome. Please find more information on this session and DSD’2015 at the web-site:
